Accessible Travel

Every traveler deserves the long horizon.

I'm a Certified Accessible Travel Advocate (CATA). That means accessibility isn't a footnote in my planning — it's the first chapter. I plan trips that travel beautifully on wheels, with mobility aids, with sensory needs, with quiet support that never feels like a workaround.

Cruising is among the most accessible ways to see the world — when planned right. The ship comes to the destination. The cabin is the same every night. Meals, programs, and downtime are steps away. But "accessible" varies wildly between ships, between cabin categories, and between ports.

That's the work I do for you. The audit, the advocacy, the second and third call to make sure the gangway, the lift, the elevator, the excursion vehicle actually delivers what the brochure promised.

What's Included

The CATA standard of care.

  • Cabin and cabin-category vetting (roll-in showers, turning radius, low thresholds)
  • Port-by-port access audits — gangways, tender ports, ship excursions vs. private
  • Mobility equipment rental and shore delivery coordination
  • Dietary, medication storage, and onboard care liaison
  • Travel companion logistics and group trip placement
  • Accessible pre- and post-cruise hotel and transfer arrangements
Group Trips

Travel together. Travel supported.

I host periodic accessible group trips — small enough for personal attention, large enough for community. Wheelchair users, slow walkers, low-vision travelers, and the people who love them all welcome.
